Investigations

Holter monitor

This portable device is designed to record the electrical activity of your heart during your normal daily routine and while you sleep. It is effective in detecting electrical abnormalities that cause intermittent symptoms, such as palpitations or dizziness, and can diagnose heart rhythm disorders that you may not be aware of.

24-Hours-Holter-Monitor

During the test, a technician will place several electrodes on your chest, which will be connected to the portable recorder. You will need to wear the monitor for 24 hours, after which you can return it to the clinic. If you experience any symptoms like chest pain, irregular heartbeats, or dizziness while wearing the monitor, simply press the Event Button on the recorder. In cases where symptoms are less frequent, we also provide 7 day Holter monitoring so that we can monitor your heart rhythm over a longer period of time.

You can carry on with your regular daily activities, and the device can be concealed under your clothing. However, it’s important to avoid taking a bath or shower while wearing the monitor.

Our team of experienced cardiologists will conduct a thorough investigation and interpretation of the results to diagnose any heart rhythm disorders and provide appropriate treatment options.
